PROFILE

As an experienced and proven collaborator and supervisor I facilitate the successful lighting of all types of events. Creating opportunity and opening pathways to success for disabled and disadvantaged artists is also core to my practice. Through the Oregon Shakespeare Festival’s FAIR program, the United States Institute of Theatre Technology’s Gateway program, and Kinetic Light’s Fellowship program, I mentor artists that face barriers to entry in the performing arts.

I speak and present workshops on design with a disability aesthetic and equity for the disabled designer at conferences such as the North American Theatre Engineering and Architecture Conference and Lighting Dimensions International.

I believe that art is an essential element for growth. Through my creative process, mentoring, and speaking I hope to manifest a world with equity for all.
